Wedding Photographer Cheshire
The charming county of Cheshire is where I now live and along with my wedding photography in Manchester, the county of Cheshire is now where I shoot most of my weddings.
Professional Wedding Photography Cheshire
Wedding photography in Cheshire is so fantastic with a plethora of wonderful venues and locations to have
your wedding at.
I will share a few of my favourite wedding locations in Cheshire for photography with you. Firstly there is
Heaton House Farm. This is a lovely venue surrounding by rolling hills where the sunset and the golden hour
are just perfect.
If you are looking for a wedding venue where your photographs will be full of the beautiful Cheshire
countryside then this one is for you.
As a wedding photographer in Cheshire when I first went to visit Abbeywood Estate I was blown away. There
are just so many wonderful locations to photograph around the estate.
Of the two weddings I have photographed there one was in the Autumn and the ceremony was in the Orangery
which just gave the most amazing natural light, and the other was in the height of summer with the ceremony
outside in the gardens.
Both offered wonderful photography opportunities. With both couples we spent time exploring the gardens to
ensure the couple portrait photography was full of the stunning Cheshire views along with all the trees and
beautiful gardens that Abbeywood has to offer.
I have photographed a few weddings at Nunsmere Hall Hotel, this is a lovely traditional Cheshire venue with
the most stunning lake which provides a gorgeous backdrop for your wedding pictures.
Walking with my couples around the grounds to get some beautiful photos is a wonderful way to spend some
time together and make sure your wedding photography looks special.

I also love photographing weddings at small intimate venues, Larkspur Lodge in Cheshire is a fantastic
example of this.
It’s a lovely lodge, tucked away near some lovely hay fields and is a great place to show of my photography
skills at a gorgeous Cheshire Wedding Venue.
I think my absolute favourite wedding venue in Cheshire has to be Delamere Manor.
This is the old home of Gary Barlow from Take That and when you are there you feel like you are in someone’s
stunning manor house. The guests take over the whole Manor House which is set in over 100 acres of stunning
Cheshire countryside.
There is an incredible lake with a swing to photograph couples as the sun goes down. Inside the venue there
is a courtyard which is full of thousands of fairy lights that makes you feel like you’re in Italy or
somewhere truly exotic.
Then when it’s time to party there is a nightclub where the couple can have photos taken of their first
dance and then dance the night away.
As a wedding photographer in Cheshire I can safely say that this venue had it all for me and I would be
happy to photograph countless weddings there.

Where I live in Cheshire is right on the border of Derbyshire and the Peak District. This means it doesn’t
have to be all fancy manor houses and large grand wedding venues.
Some of my absolute favourite weddings have been tiny elopements where the photography is completely rugged,
natural and the scenery is breathtaking. As an elopement wedding photographer moving to the countryside was
one of the best things I ever did.
To be able to put on some walking boots and step outside my front door into the fresh, country air is a
privilege I will always be grateful for. I think with the current economic climate and the cost of living
rising at an alarming rate couples may start moving away from big, elaborate and expensive weddings.
I think elopements may be the way forward, where there is little pressure to try and impress or make other
people happy and the ceremony is just about you doing what you love.
I personally got married at Adlington Hall Hotel in Cheshire which was a stunning venue and I loved every
minute of it but if I chose to get married again it would be an elopement wedding in the Peak District or
Cheshire with just my partner, a wedding celebrant and my wedding photographer.
One of my favourite ever weddings in Cheshire was at the top of a mountain, we just put on our walking boots
and went exploring, The best part of a micro wedding like this is the freedom and the ability to just go
where you want and make the day about what you want. And the wedding photographs will last forever,
something for you to remember your amazing day together.
With such a varied and beautiful county to live in I feel so happy and privileged to be a wedding
photographer in Cheshire and cannot wait for the big, grand weddings as well as the tiny micro weddings and
elopements that are coming up in 2023 and 2024.
